Small Groups at GHCC are where faith becomes personal and community becomes real. We believe life is meant to be lived together, growing, learning, and processing what God is doing in and through us. These gatherings are a space to build meaningful relationships, ask honest questions, and take next steps in your journey.
Small groups meet every Wednesday evening at 6:30 PM at the building, and everyone is welcome. Come as you are, we would love to have you join us.

There are no second-class citizens in the family of God. We believe the beautiful gifts of all people desiring relationship with God are necessary for the work of the church to be effective. To that end, we recognize and celebrate the unique gifts and stories of our LGBTQIA+ siblings in faith and joyfully invite their full participation within our faith community.
God created the world and called it good. God created humanity and called it very good… all of it. In a world of divisions and categories, we work for the unity and dignity of all people for the cause of mutual flourishing under Christ. Revelation 7:9 presents the throne room of heaven in unified diversity of every tribe, nation and tongue glorifying God together. We want to represent a piece of that Kingdom vision within GHCC.
John 13:15-17 calls us to imitate the practical and self-sacrificial love of Jesus, Luke 10 presents the truth that our “neighbor” is anyone in need, and Matthew 25 presents the “least of these” as deeply beloved of Jesus himself. And so, GHCC champions the ministry and community partners who are seeking to walk alongside our neighbors experiencing homelessness with compassion, engagement and the commitment to serve all in the name and through the power of Jesus Christ.
We believe diversity echoes God’s good plan for creation. We believe regardless of age, race, gender identity, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, physical abilities, background, or history with God, everyone has a place to grow personally and to serve others as a fully participating part of the family of God. Therefore, we highly value and seek to identify and cultivate the unique contributions of every human to God’s work of love in the world.
We believe that courage in the face of complex reality is important to God and was modeled in Jesus Christ. With that in mind, we seek to be bold in truth and compassionate in love as we work for equity and justice for all.
We believe celebration is a part of the heart of God. It is found in the Hebrew festivals as well as the practices of the early Church. Therefore, as acts of obedience and worship, we will celebrate the ordinances of baptism, communion, preaching, scripture reading, prayer, and singing with a spirit of gratitude and praise.
We believe that the truths of God are the hope of the world. We also recognize the mixed reputation of the Church to the world. We will pursue transparency, responsibility, and vulnerability with regard to our finances, our messaging, and our behavior.
